Over the weekend of April 20 and 21, you can join thousands of REALTORS® across the country and around the world by participating in the REALTOR® Nationwide Open House. State and local Realtor® associations are organizing the largest-ever event, which is aimed at bringing together buyers and sellers and promoting the benefits of home ownership for families and communities.

Even with the indispensable role of the Internet in real estate transactions, open houses continue to have an important role. In NAR’s 2012 Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers, 45 percent of buyers said that they attended open houses in their home search process.
